A beautiful compact shrub presenting cone-shaped panicles of white flowers in summer, that gradually fade to bright reddish-pink from the bottom up; somewhat coarse in appearance, regular pruning recommended; needs acidic well-drained soil
Ornamental Features:
Flare Hydrangea features bold conical white flowers at the ends of the branches from early summer to early fall that fade to pink over time. The flowers are excellent for cutting. It has green deciduous foliage. The pointy leaves do not develop any appreciable fall color.
Landscape Attributes:
Flare Hydrangea is a multi-stemmed deciduous shrub with a more or less rounded form. Its relatively coarse texture can be used to stand it apart from other landscape plants with finer foliage.
